Sleep Tight
Lincoln loves to sleep with big blankets shoved up his shirt. He takes his blanket and stuffs it up his shirt as far and as tight as it can go after David and I leave the room for the night. We think it's so funny that we had to take a picture. He actually sleeps really well even with this huge bulge.

Family Home Evening
Tonight we took Lincoln to the movie, Dolphin Tale for Family Home Evening. The show started at 7:00. Linc usually goes to bed at 8:30. We didn't realize how long the movie was going to be, but we didn't get out until 9:00.
While in the theater, Lincoln started to cry. We asked him what was wrong and he said he was tired and he wanted to go home and rest. We ended up staying till the end of the movie, but on the way home, Lincoln got emotional again.
When he is tired he says funny things. Tonight he said, "I think I broke by foreleg maybe next time when Disneyland is dark. Disneyland loves me." It was so sweet and sincere, but I had a hard time holding back the laughter as I thought about his incoherent babbling. I held my composure and told him that I am sorry his foreleg is broken and that Disneyland does indeed love him. He is sleeping upstairs right now. He definitely needed some rest.

Sincere Prayers
Tonight in Lincoln's prayer, he was extremely concerned with asking Heavenly Father to help Santa Clause be safe at the North Pole. His prayer went something like this...
Linc: Please help Santa be safe,
David: We are thankful for our family...
Linc: Please help Santa Clause be safe at the North Pole...
David: We are thankful for the prophet...
Linc: We are thankful for Santa and please help him be safe...
I guess he's got Christmas on the brain. It's not even October yet... I love that boy!

What Are You Afraid of?
Lincoln is very into finding out what people are afraid of lately. He asks people continually what scares them. The other day, he asked a former member of our bishopric, Brother Hooten, what he was afraid of during our ward service project.
Lincoln's biggest fear right now is spiders. I swear he can spot a spider web from 30 feet away. He always asks if the spider that lives there is nice or mean and if it will bite him. He can spot spiders in books, which surprises me because they are always so small on the pages, but he knows they are there.
The other day, while talking about spiders, he told me which spider is the scariest. He told me that the "TarEnchillada" (tarantula) spider is the spookiest spider ever! It was the cutest thing I ever heard! I love how he talks and the funny words he comes up with.
