Yesterday Lincoln and I were watching a Living Scriptures movie about Jesus' miracles. They spoke in the movie about Jesus healing people. Lincoln asked what "heal" means. I told him it means to make someone better who is sick or hurt. Lincoln immediately replied by asking, "can I ask Jesus to heal my dad's spinal cord?" Tears filled my eyes and I told Lincoln that it would be a great idea and we hope that it can happen.
Lincoln's sweet heart and loving spirit is such an example to me. I am trying to do as the scriptures say and become as a little child and I am so proud that Lincoln can be my teacher.

This morning Lincoln was very excited to go to school. He was walking around the house chanting "going to school to-day. Going to school to-day. Jump in the car. Yeah. Jump in the car. Yeah." He had such great rhythm! I am so glad he likes school.

Legoish

While helping Lincoln get ready for school today he looked down at his Lego shoes and said, "mom, do you think my friends will think I'm kind of Legoish?"
Priceless!

First Day of Kindergarten

Lincoln has his first day of kindergarten yesterday. He was so excited!
When he got to school he found some of his friends and played with them on the playground for a while. He and Bridger found each other right away. They played noodle wars in PE. Lincolns teacher is Mrs. Nay. She is very nice and sweet. Kindergarten is going to be great!
