Our hotel was really nice. We stayed in Ft. Lauderdale for a couple of days before our cruise started. This is a view from our room.
Outside our hotel were all of these really cool trees with the roots shooting into the ground.
Lincoln enjoyed taking a little dip in the pool outside. It was really warm!
Once we were finally on our cruise ship and in our cabin, Lincoln could not contain his excitement any longer. He was so happy to finally be able to being our cruise.
We just enjoyed our first day at sea by hanging out on the ship. We took in the sight of the beautiful ocean, spent some time in the pools and hot tub and used the miniature golf course on the ship.
Dinner was a lot of fun too! Lincoln loved this dessert of ice cream with a chocolate bird on top. Along the entire time of the cruise people would comment on how well behaved, polite and handsome Lincoln is. Of course I was a proud mama.
After the events of the night we headed back to the cabin and got some good sleep. In the morning we woke up bright and early to this beautiful sunrise. We got ready and headed down to get off at our first port, Nassau, Bahamas.
We could not wait to start our adventure in the Bahamas and swim with dolphins!
Once we got off the ship we boarded a small ferry that took us to another island so we could swim with dolphins and play on the beach.
The beautiful, Paradise Island!
Swimming with the dolphins was the highlight of our trip. Lincoln and I loved getting in the water with Andy to touch, dance with, hug, and learn more about Andy. Lincoln even got a kiss from Andy the Dolphin.
Watching the dolphins swim around was so relaxing and enjoyable. We loved watching them splash and play in the water.
The scenery was so beautiful I could not quit taking pictures.
We had a great time playing in the crystal clear ocean water.
We had a great time spending our day on Nassau. Soon it was time to head back to the ship for us to set sail for the night on to our next destination.
Dinner was always really fun. The food was okay, but our waiter and the entertainment was really fun. One night Lincoln got up and danced with the waiters to one of his favorite songs. Everyone loved it. That moment is definitely at the top of my list of favorite moments from the cruise.
Lincoln loved lounging on the chairs during the day. So did I!
Every time we came back to our room for the night there was a cute little towel animal waiting for us. We were very impressed at the creative poses the towels were positioned in each day.
At night they played movies on the pool deck. One night they showed ET. I really like that movie so we pulled up some chairs, snuggled up in a blanket and watched the movie. It was really fun! Lincoln really liked the movie as well.
After our stay on Half Moon Cay we headed back to the ship and enjoyed our evening. The next day was a day at sea. We had a lot of fun hanging out on the ship swimming, watching commedians, eating ice cream and playing mini golf.
Our final port on the cruise was Grand Turk. We had a great time playing on the beach and hanging out on the island.
The island had a great area right by the port with a fun pool and area to hang out with shops and food to eat.
We had a great time on our cruise. We loved every minute and are hoping to have the opportunity to go again.
