BOO TO YOU!

Conference weekend was so much fun. We were all there (except Dan and Tori of course: you guys were there in our hearts :) My mom bought all the grand kids Halloween shirts. We decided to take some pictures of the squids wearing them. Aren't they cute?




Linkers was a stinker the whole time. The only thing that stopped him from screaming his high pitched, blood curdling scream, was to go outside and play in his cousin's car. Austin is so sweet to share. The weather was pretty cold, so we had to bundle Linko up. He looked pretty cute.





Conference was enjoyable, but I failed to hear a talk on eternal families. I am supposed to speak in sacrament meeting on Sunday using talks from general conference. However, with my sweet child screaming in my ear for two days, it is highly possible that I completely missed it. Does anybody remember a talk based on eternal families? If so, please let me know.

Estrogen Overload

Lincoln has been surrounded by women these last few weeks. I think he is ready for some male bonding time for sure.

Kate is Lincoln's best friend. He loves it when she comes over to play. Last week he even cried when she had to go home. She is such a funny little girl. I don't really have pictures of them together because they don't hold still or stay in one place long enough for me to get them both in the shot. These kids destroy my house faster than I can pick up after them. It is so much fun though.





A few days ago, we went to the park for a play date with my old roommates, Jaycee and Amber Tuttle. They are sisters from LaVerkin. Their parents live in our ward and their little brother had his homecoming last Sunday so they were in town. They both have two daughters - more estrogen! We had a good time at the park, but I felt like I didn't get my Tuttle fix so I invited them over to our house for more chatting. Another friend, Tara Gubler came over with her daughter too. In one day, Lincoln had six women at the house (not to mention the moms). It was good for Lincoln to have some friends come over and I was pleased to indulge in some adult conversation. I just LOVE those gals. We had a such a good time that I forgot to take pics of all the kids and roommies. BUMMER! Here are some pics of Linc at the park.





Some of the cheapest toys I have found for Lincoln to play with are these little puff balls I had left over from teaching. He loves to shove them under his neck and walk around with them. I thought Linc was kinda weird until Kate did the exact same thing the other day. Those kids crack me up.









They found my Palm. Notice it lying on the floor at the bottom of the stairs? Great.


I watched my niece, Aubrey, one night for my sister-in-law. This little one is ALL girl. She wanted me to make her a wand. This is the best I could come up with . I know...pretty ugly right? At least she was happy with it.

Even though we were surrounded by girls, we had a great time! However, it's a good thing Lincoln has lots of male cousins. We'll have to set up some play dates with them soon.

I found this High School Musical jib jab on their website. I thought it was so funny I could not resist making David and I the stars of the show! When I was teaching 5th grade, my students loved High School Musical. This post is for you Emily!
