Today, I am grateful to have these fellas in my life. I am so glad that I get to be with them FOREVER!

My Attitude of Gratitude pt. 2

Today's post may be TMI for some (all) of you, but today I am grateful for underwear that fits. :)

My Attitude of Gratitude pt.1

I am trying to acquire a new attitude. I would like to develop an attitude of gratitude.

Around this time of year, I get very involved in my own desires. My mind seems to constantly be consumed about what I would like to give to others for Christmas and, more shamefully, what I would like to receive for Christmas. My list this year is very long and it seems to get longer daily. Today, while pondering my current circumstance, the phrase "an attitude of gratitude" came into my mind. I believe this phrase was coined by President Monson. I have not been able to get these words out of my head today. My mind keeps going back to them as I go about my daily business. I decided that rather than trying to get this beautiful phrase out of my mind, I would act on it. I set a goal for myself to post something every day for which I am grateful. This little experiment will end on Thanksgiving Day. I am hoping that by doing this, I will be able to look around at all the blessings that surround me.

These items that I post will not necessarily be extraordinary or extravagant. They will simply be things that touch my heart and help me realize how truly blessed I am. So, without further ado, I give you My Attitude of Gratitude pt. 1


Today, I am grateful for my little boy, Spaghetti-O's.
and last, but not least, bubble baths to clean those Spaghetti-O's off my little boy.

Happy Halloween!

Our Halloween was filled with fun. We started out by going to Jump-n-Jacks. We met mom and dad Edwards there along with Mike, Kathi and the kids and Daniel and Corrin. We had a great time.

Next, we went to Pirate Island Pizza for lunch. Lincoln was pretty scared of all the noises and pretend cannons shooting at random, but we still had fun.

After lunch it was time to head home to get the kids down for naps so that they would be happy little trick-or-treaters. Lincoln slept WAY late. I ended up waking him up at about 6:15 so we could eat dinner and start gathering candy. He was not very happy about being disturbed from his slumber. After a lot of tears and spitting, this is his attempt at being happy. Are you convinced?

After a little while, we were able to settle Lincoln down enough to get his costume on. Can you guess what he is?

If you guessed BLUE MONSTER, you are right! Tell me, does he look like a cow? You would be surprised if I told you how many people thought he was a cow while we were trick or treating. Really?

Linc did really well trick-or-treating. He said "Trick-or Treat!" at every house and was sure to say "thank you" once the candy was in the bag.

Once trick-or-treating was finished, we headed home to check out the loot. Linc was pretty pleased with his first Halloween.
